El autor concibió esta obra para analizar las causales ideológicas y generacionales que llevaron a Diego Rivera a realizar una imagen plástica harto singular del conquistador de Tenochtitlán. Tanto las ilustraciones como la bibliografía son de un gran interés, además del estudio biográfico y las fuentes.  

The author conceives this work to analyse the ideological and generational causes that take to Diego Rivera to realise a very singular plastic image of the conqueror of Tenochtitlan.
